More About The Doctor
During my training I have been exposed to a wide variety of both Orthopaedic-surgical and medical emergencies. To date, my training posts in Orthopaedic and Accident Surgery have included one year as a House Officer, three years as Senior House Officer, three years as a Registrar, two years as Senior Registrar, a year as Consultant Orthopaedic/Trauma Surgeon and as a Clinical Research Fellow, and Resident training in Sports Medicine and Specialist Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic surgery.
In my previous posts I have gained experience in both trauma and elective management and have thus been able to expand my operative skills and repertoire. Training was predominantly in trauma, and in elective Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine. I have carried out in surgeries which included inter-lock nailing for long bone fractures, ORIF, spinal surgery (laminectomy, discectomy, postero-lateral decompression, spinal fusion, and scoliosis correction), arthrodesis of joints, osteotomies, post traumatic limb reconstruction, knee arthroscopy, and total/hemi-arthroplasty of the hip and total knee replacements.
