Prof. Safi spent many years at the Ulm University Hospital and Weimar Teaching Hospital as chief of surgery. Working in the Reference Excellence Center for Pancreas Surgery allowed him to gain huge experience in pancreas surgery for the treatment of malignant, benign pancreas disease. That’s why he brought different and very modern well-established surgical techniques and Management methods with him.

Worked only at University Hospital So the education of medical students and training doctors in surgery in order to help them get the German board was always part of his work. Dr. Safi was at the University Ulm one of the first groups in the world who started minimal invasive surgery.
