Dr. Mohamed Elserafi is a Specialist Neurologist who has over 16 years of experience in the field of Neuroscience.
Dr. Mohamed Elserafi finished his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) followed by a 1-year internship with a degree (excellent with honor), followed by a neurology residency. During his residency, he was practicing all aspects of neurology science including all acute critical and chronic neurological disorders in prestigious universities and teaching hospitals in Egypt where he finished his post-graduate in medicine and neurology in 2011 and he joined prestigious hospitals in Saudi Arabia in the field of neurology for four years (2011 till 2015). He joined NMC specialty hospital Dubai for about 8 years since 2015 till 2023 before joining HMS al garhoud hospital.
He has high experience in inpatient and outpatient settings, treating neurological disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, neuropathy, myopathy, demyelinating disorders Multiple sclerosis, headache, CNS inflammatory disorders and infectious disease, neuro-oncology, neuromuscular diseases, movement disorders and other types of neurological diseases, Neurophysiological procedures.
He has been involved in the diagnosis and treatment of other neurometabolic and genetic disorders, etc. He has worked with the neurology team in ICU and Stroke unit and did many successful cases of thrombolytic therapy and incoordination with interventionists and neurosurgeons referred cases for mechanical thrombectomy, carotid and vertebral artery stenting and endarterectomy as teamwork.
